Complete list of Columbus Ideal Org Donors

Only about 20-30 Scientologists have actually shown up for each of the org's various scheduled events which I have picketed this year (three in the past month alone). The "Columbus Explorers Honor Roll" lists 119 donors to the Columbus Ideal Org, one of which is a Scientology front group, one a deceased person, and a number of donations made in the name of the children of local Scientologists.

The Columbus metro area is estimated to have about 1.7 million residents. This means that less than .007% of the population of the Columbus metropolitan area have contributed to the Ideal Org, and about .00147% of the population attend CoS social events described in church emails as "A MUST FOR ALL SCIENTOLOGY FAMILIES AND FRIENDS."

I don't know how things are in other areas, but Scientology in Ohio is definitely not thriving.

The way they are listed in the newsletter I think they donated $1,000,000 in both their names, not separately.

Oh, you know that is a million a piece- no scifag org is going to give credit separately unless each ponied up the cash.

Of course, Durable Slate actually ponied up the cash, but there you go...

Would it be fair to assume John Chan is probably their son or somehow related?

On one hand, if they just listed them together it would make them look like they have more money and donors than if they listed only one.

John Chan is brother to "Mike" Chan. In the Corporation of Scientology publications I have seen it has always been very clear that John and Chiu Hoi “Mike” Chan were listed separately.

The only ambiguity creeps in with married couples, who are usually listed together, with their children listed separatly (but not necessarilly individually) with token donations of at least $500.
